Vegan Holiday Brunch this Sunday!

I'm putting together another Evolve Detroit but wanted to get this out so you can plan to join us this Sunday.

We have a few remaining seats in our Vegan Holiday Brunch and would be honored if you'd join us! The class is from 11 am - 3 pm. These classes help us to keep the Lab up and running and share what we feel are valuable empowering skills. This Sunday's menu is impressive:

Winter Vegetable Ragout stuffed Roasted Pumpkin, Sweet Potato Cornbread, Deviled "Eggs", Baby Greens with Roasted Beets, Caramelized Onions, Candied Pecans and Cranberry Balsamic Vinaigrette & Cinnamon Pecan Sticky Buns

Angela will take us through the process of putting these dishes together, share important tips that will help you create a sustainable, healthy and humane kitchen, provide everyone with a recipe packet to help you recreate these dishes at home, and we'll all sit down together to enjoy the results of our labor.

The class is held at the Lab in Eastern Market this Sunday and starts at 11 am. Seating is limited and if you would like to join us we need to hear from you as soon as possible. Vegan Holiday Dinner - Sat, December 13th, 4 - 8 pm
Menu: Velvety Spiced Pumpkin Soup garnished with Parsnip Chips, Roasted Garlic and Herb Tofu "Turkey" braised with Miso-Mushroom Au jus, Wild Rice and Walnut Sourdough Stuffing, Warm Potato Salad with Spinach, Red Pepper, Artichokes and Creamy Caesar Dressing, & "Cheesy" Broccoli Casserole $60

Vegan and Raw Food Classes with Angela Kasmala
Angela's classes are about much more than just food preparation - learn how to reduce waste through composting and recycling, explore sustainability, meet like minded people, and share great food, information and resources. We will prepare a four-course meal from start to finish, and then sit down together to enjoy the fruits and veggies of our labor! We offer our students a unique experience and an opportunity not only learn, but also to connect with others and realize the importance of food in our lives and the world.
