Angela's Vegan and Raw Foods Classes are Back!

Greetings Detroit and all who grace us here,
We hope you're all having a wonderful Earth Week! We have been amazed and inspired by all the wonderful events throughout the city this year. There are many important Detroit Evolution Laboratory events this weekend as well. Please check out the details below and join us! We look forward to seeing you all around town for what appears to be our first seriously warm weekend of the year. Please help us by spreading the word about our events and our work. We thank you so much and remind all of you that we wouldn't be here if it were not for you. We are very blessed to share with you all!

Shelley's Back from India!
First, our dear friend Shelley Smith (editor of Peace, Love & Yoga Magazine) has just returned from Mysore, India where she studied at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. Shelly returns to the Lab to teach her 10 am Saturday class tomorrow morning. Please come out to welcome her home and take in a practice freshly steeped in the traditional Indian practice of yoga. Gregg will also be teaching tomorrow at noon. Please come by and join us as we dedicate our practice to the people of Detroit and enjoy what is going to be an incredible Saturday in Eastern Market.

2 Months Unlimited Yoga for $100
(only a few days left)
We also want to remind everyone that our reopening special will end on April 30th. To assist us in raising funds for the Lab we are offering 2 months of unlimited yoga for $100! This is a great way to get started with a regular practice at the Lab and we encourage you to come out and experience our community-based and soulful classes. This is not high pressure gym or health club yoga, come as you are with an open mind. We look forward to seeing you!

Bioneers Detroit's Food Stories
Also tomorrow, Angela will be sharing her food story at Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit's Food Stories Gathering from 10am-3:30pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church on Cass. Please partake in a day of tales and food, to celebrate the Earth, the new growing season, and our Detroit neighbors who will share. Please bring your own food stories to share. Lunch will be provided by Chef Phil Jones of Jones Urban Foods. The Lab's Angela Newsom shares her "Food Story" at this exciting event. First Unitarian Universalist Church, 4605 Cass Avenue, Detroit. $3-10 Suggested Donation.

COMMUNITY-BASED YOGA
These secrets of yoga are within the hearts of everyone.
