- Gregg Newsom is a Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker, Reiki Master and N.L.P. practitioner whose focus is assisting others as they move through therapeutic work and practice, maintenance of wellness and into self-actualization and manifestation. In 2006, Gregg traveled to Mysore, India to study with Ashtanga guru Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. His time in India enhanced his connection to the traditional practice of yoga and he strives to share this with all of his students. He has taught yoga at studios and medical centers throughout South-Eastern Michigan and massage therapy at Irene’s Myomassology Institute. He also specializes in research and experimentation with alternative energies and sciences. In 2006, he was part of a seven-member team that converted a school bus to vegetable oil and drove it across the continent. In 2007, along with partner Angela Kasmala, Gregg brought the Detroit Evolution Laboratory to light. On the Summer Solstice 2008, Gregg and Angela held their wedding ceremony underneath the Detroit Temple they helped to build! They are expecting their first child, Aya, in February of 2009.
