Silence, RAW, and Independence

Kinda light in the posting department these days. There's a ton of behind the scenes work going on and, amazingly enough, some aspects of my life are just not fodder for the blogosphere. It'll all come in time. It's been rough but that's part of being. Yoga, my comrades and the quest for equanimity are my biggest of boons.

News? Well, Robert Anton Wilson is apparently on his death bed and writing hiakus:

Well what do you know?
Another day had passed
and I'm still not not.
He's also kickin' an ebay auction that includes his signing of rarities. RAW, next to Detroit Red, has been one of the biggest influences in my life. I'd like him to hold on for another year as he is on the list of luminaries that The Viking are planning on hitting up next year. I'd understand if he needs to shuffle off the mortal coil, but it'd be sweet if we could get out there and spend a bit of time with him before he moves on. If not, we'll see you in Valhalla!

The Vikings are now the proud owners of Ragnarok a 66 person capacity school bus! It's stored out on some land the other side of Kalamazoo where I'll be on the weekends working to get it up to snuff for the journey out to Burning Man this year. This is the manifestation of so many dreams. It is good to see the work come to fruition.

Finally, Independence... In the past I have done many heartfelt rituals upon July 4th. This goes all the way back to 1995. There is an energy that prevails on this day. An energy that says "screw the man," and energy that links back to the revolution. Here, today, I invoke that energy in the face of the fascist Bush regime, in the face of the Big Three, in the face of those that would keep humanity down. I had a phenomenal practice this morning and dedicated the energy to freedom and flying in the face of the common place. Your future is freedom my friends, choose joy, rage against those deserving rage and wholeheartedly love those deserving of your love.

God Bless each and every one of you.

Thrive on and ever upwards!
