Burning Solstice

A few things to go on about today. First happy Summer Solstice! The longest day of the year. It'd be my half-birthday if there were such things.

Practice this morning was very solar, lots of prana flying about and really getting into those nooks and crannies.

The other day while walking through Hart Plaza a woman walked up to me raving about how I looked like Robert Plant! Pretty funny, really. I never thought Robert Plant was that great looking, but, dude... I'll take to any comparisons to Gods of Rock!

I'm beginning my preparations for this weekend. Friday, a bevy of us from the D are heading to the Entheon Village fund raiser in Chicago. Not sure what I'm going to do for my costume yet. I'll be hitting a few vintage stores tonight to see what I can put together. Saturday, I'll be sitting on the Viking Youth Power Hour panel for an interview with someone I consider to be a psychedelic luminary. I'll post details on that once it's in the can. Good times.

"""Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed..."""

Groovy Baby!

R. Plant had many, many "fans" -- I'd take that as a big compliment.
