The BOTL Rocket - Year Five

In April of 2002, a small group of like minded occultist from Detroit gathered to initiate a series of workings corresponding to the writing of the Book Of The Law as dictated by Aiwass to Aleister Crowley in 1904. Without going into great detail I will simply state that over the past 3 days these workings were conducted for the fifth consecutive year. Five years! Whew, that's hard to believe. That time thing is certainly a construct, eh?

I pause here to reflect upon the developments of the workings over this extended period of time. Many people have assisted us in keeping this going and as year five comes to a close I want to thank them all no matter how large or small or brief or lasting their role. I "received" and transcribed the BOTL Rocket while sitting in a cubicle in corporate America in 2001 and though I often bitch about the time and energy required to pull it off each year at the end I always appreciate it. There's a discipline and a dedication required to pull it off and I am pleased we've been able to carry it forward.

This year, I was even more pissy about the workings than usual. The further away I get from the dogma of those who carry the Book of the Law, the more difficult it becomes for me to suspend my disbelief and circumambulate. The main thing that keeps me going is the technology of the workings. I "received" a technological breakthrough that assists the mind to overcome linear time. I have applied this technology to my life and have benefited greatly from it. So, though the subject matter doesn't really move me the process does. Despite my turning into a grumpy old man, I'm honored to be a part of it.
