I went "veggie" when I was 17 years old for all the wrong reasons. We'll just say that it involved a girl and leave it there. There have been a few points in my life where I returned the ways of the carnivore. But now I can say I've been a vegetarian for most of my adult life. For me it's about refusing to consume destructive energy and chemicals. I have no desire to eat the chemicals pumped into animals OR the fear and pain that the animals live and die with. How's THAT for Anthropomorphic thought? Man, back in the day nothing pissed me off more that anthropomorphism! I'm not overly preachy about vegetarianism as I feel that we create our own realities. I simply know that I feel more balanced and energetic when I eat a vegetarian diet. I use dairy but I'm working towards exclusively using organic dairy. The cows are treated better, not pumped full of chemicals and when it comes down to it organic milk and cheese just tastes better.

OK, I'm off the soapbox now.
